- By seeing the bodies of those ill-fated citizens of Pompeii who couldn't even got time to move and just buried under the ashes of the volcanic eruption from Vesuvius volcano. After the incident took place during August of 79 AD, the bodies were perfectly preserved under the ashes to tell us the stories. [1]
