Most horrifying photos I believe you have never seen

Most horrifying photos? How about these?

  1. By seeing the bodies of those ill-fated citizens of Pompeii who couldn't even got time to move and just buried under the ashes of the volcanic eruption from Vesuvius volcano. After the incident took place during August of 79 AD, the bodies were perfectly preserved under the ashes to tell us the stories. [1]

2. Picture of two brothers named Michael (right) and his younger brother Sean (left). A moment before lightning struck them in the Moro Rock, California in 1975. [2]

3. Pictures of Fukushima show us how an once populated city can become a ghost town. This is not a picture of a forest! Yes, this is a picture of a busy road with abandoned cars after Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011.

These are the pictures that really horrify me about this cruel world. The world is not fair to everyone and everytime..

Some rare historical photos you wouldn't believe exist?

  1. This is widely acknowledged as the first photo taken — ever.

2. However, a lesser known photo, taken by same photographer Nicéphore Niépce is believed to be even older than that shown above:

First photo was taken using heliographic technique. Interestingly, it is thought the earliest photo, taken by same photographer, even pre-dates these both photos (Photo 1: 1826, Photo 2: 1825) and was taken in 1822 but was accidentally destroyed.

3. First ever photo with a human in it:

Taken in Paris in 1838 by Louis Daguerrein, the snap clearly shows a person getting his shoes shinned on a boulevard.

4. The first ever human potrait which also ended up being first ever selfie.

Taken by photographer Robert Cornelius in 1839, The back of the photo reads, “The first light picture ever taken.

5. The first ever color photo

Taken in 1861 by the physicist James Clerk Maxwell, this amazing first color photo is evident of Maxwell's genius and the fact that he was years ahead of his time.

6. First Subtractive Color Photograph
Known as “Landscape of Southern France”, this was taken in 1872 by Louis Arthur Ducos du Hauron.

7. The earliest known photograph of the White House

8. The first known photograph of a president of the United States

President John Quincy Adams, sixth president, was first to be photographed. This was however taken after JQA left office.
